DFBC is the group in charge of our school’s broadcasting activities. Every week our PDs and announcers meet to create a campus radio show and every year we participate in a festival program for which we produce news and videos. We also have fun by creating parodies and theatrical dubbing. Our club is great for any student who is interested in a career in the press or media or would like to acquire volunteer hours.

At Daewon’s English newspaper BEACON, we write about diverse issues pertaining to international and domestic affairs, social sciences, culture and arts. Among these 4 categories, students create articles about law, politics, entertainment, sports, etc. Every year, we publish one full edition of our newspaper but we also publish Beacon-Lite, an abridged edition, 2~3 times a year. Our students proof-read each others’ articles, and through this collaborative process, we learn to become better writers and improve our knowledge of the issues that interest us.
